Creality CR-X | Same as the CR-10

The most popular 3D printer made by Creality is the CR-10. The CR-10 had an enormous print area. And that is what the CR-X is based off of. the CR-10 came with a 0.4mm nozzle at a maximum resolution of 100 microns. There is also a heated bed spreading the heat across the glass print surface. There have been a few other models launched, but none of them could repeat the success of this CR-10. But now the Creality CR-X is here, which is a similarly-styled 3D printer with dual extrusion capabilities.

 

We have been recalling the Creality CR-10 so frequently because the Creality CR-X is based upon the framework of the CR-10. But as you guess, there are many new features over and above dual extrusion printing.

The Creality CR-X has a new print head design that has two filament feeds going through a single nozzle. As you guess, it’s called a dual extrusion. And this is the first dual extruder 3D printer for Creality.

The CR-X is a FDM printer, which means a filament—composed of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polylactic acid (PLA), or another thermoplastic—is melted and deposited through a heated extrusion nozzle in layers. This system is used to print clean breaks between the materials. There are two spool holders mounted atop the CR-X feed into two extruders. They are situated on both ends of the X-axis rail. This is where two filaments pass through PTFE tubes into a single Y-splitter feeding into

 

 

Most 3D printers come with a software suite, either supplied on disk or available for download, which includes everything you need to get printing. Unfortunately, the CR-X doesn’t offer anything certain. So you have to rely on your experience and knowledge. This doesn’t mean the CR-X will become useless. You just have to search and find which software meets your requirements most.

If you are new in the 3D printing, you should only find a software that controls the printer and a slicer formats the object file into layers based on the selected resolution and so on. If there is a software that will correct problems that could interfere with smooth printing, even better.
