D-Link launches new DCS-8600LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera

SYDNEY, 16 May 2019D-Link ANZ has launched its new DCS-8600LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera. The innovative new camera has exciting new features and functionality within the new and improved mydlink app such as cloud recording, boasts two-way audio via an in-built speaker and microphone, and integrates seamlessly with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

D-Link’s new DCS-8600LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera joins D-Link’s family of best-in-class surveillance cameras. It has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of the modern smart home, including integrating clever and intuitive voice control features.

The DCS-8600LH Full HD Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera boasts a wide-angle lens that easily captures a backyard, or an entire room, wall-to-wall, in high-quality 1080p. You will be able to see what’s happening 24/7 with built-in infrared LEDs that allow up to 7 meters of night time viewing and motion and sound detection sending notifications to the mydlink™ app. The rotatable head makes discrete installations easy even on ceilings, while wireless connectivity keeps cabling to a minimum. It also has an IP65 rating, which means it can withstand most outdoor weather environments on cold, wet or hot days.

You can also automatically record snapshots and video clips to a microSD card or, with a mydlink™ cloud recording subscription (a complementary 12 month Premium subscription that’s usually US$49.99 is included – see below for full details of D-Link cloud subscriptions), to your cloud account. This mydlink™ cloud recording support is a real bonus as it makes it incredibly easy and convenient for you to look after your family and check up on your home or office. You can then play back recordings from the cloud or download video clips to your mobile device from anywhere, anytime through the Internet. You can also access real-time live views of your cameras using the mydlink™ mobile app and set customised and automated recording schedules via your mobile device, no matter where you are.
