PC Peripherals Reviews

You probably haven’t heard of them, the fairly new company coming to the market of gaming monitors. Aftershock, they are an Australian based monitor brand making decent monitors for a fraction of the price.

I in particular am reviewing the X340, a 34″, 100hz curved gaming monitor.

Now before i go into the review i want to tell you a bit more about Aftershock.  AFTERSHOCK was founded in 2012 by a team of hardware enthusiasts, competitive gamers and IT professionals. In the many years since their founding in Singapore, Their team of master craftsmen and technicians have time and time again proven that they are able to deliver the ultimate boutique pc experience through a combination of craftsmanship, no compromise service and value. They don’t only sell monitors either, they sell Laptops, Desktops, Small form factor PCs, All in ones and even desks, so if you are in the need of one of those things i would highly recommend Aftershock.

Now to the review!

The X340 is a 34” ultra-wide design that is combined with a 1800R curvature for a visual experience unlike any other. The curve of the X340 envelopes your natural field of vision, creating a true cinematic viewing experience that will blow your mind. Throw in a blistering 100hz refresh rate and you have incredible butter smooth visuals that will redefine your in-game experience. It runs at a high resolution of 3440 X 1440.

It does not have in built speakers but does offer audio pass through with a built in audio out.
