HyperX Fury 16GB 2666 DDR4 Review

In today’s review, I’m taking a look at the 16GB HyperX Fury 2666MHz RAM. A kit of RAM that is pretty well priced with NO RGB for the simplistic people in life.

Big thanks to HyperX for sending this over for review!

What’s in the Box?

What comes with your kit of HyperX Fury Ram? Well you get the RAM itself, a cool HyperX Sticker and some documentation. The box itself is pretty plain and simple with some product info on the back. The RAM is held in a plastic clamshell which helps protect it a bit during transit.

 HyperX Fury RAM Stick

The HyperX fury is a pretty sleek looking kit of RAM, it is completely blacked out even to the PCB. The HyperX logo is a shimmery silver and reflects the light in your PC to give it a cool glowing look. There isn’t too much too them, the heat spreader has the HyperX logo on with a ‘Fury’ logo and DDR4 written on the top, The heat spreaders also having a ‘gaming’ look to them with sharp angled lines and a slight curvature at the top of the spreader. The heat spreader is also pretty low profile coming in at only 3 cm tall and the total height of a stick with the PCB being 3.5 cm!

Pricing

The HyperX Fury 16GB 2666MHz kit can be found on Amazon Australia for around $100 AUD! Which is a really decent price for a 16GB kit of DDR4.

Conclusion

The HyperX Fury 16GB 2666MHz DDR4 memory kit is quite a good kit for someone who is either looking to move to a DDR4 system or someone building a budget system and doesn’t really have the budget for all the fancy bling and RGB ram. This kit is quite good value for the performance!
