WD Black SN750 Review | A beast of an SSD!

NVMe drives are awesome, they’re super fast and are getting pretty affordable. But I am always being asked what the best NVMe drive for ‘gaming’ is, And I think I’ve found it.

The WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD which is meant to be one of the fastest NVMe SSDs on the market today.

With that out of the way, Big thanks to Western Digital for sending this out for review!

What’s in the Box?

What comes in the box with the SN750, Well you get the SN750 SSD itself and some documentation-That’s it. The outer packaging of the box is really nice looking and goes with the WD Black look. On the rear side of the box you get a glimpse of the SSD as there is a window in the box. Inside, the SSD is placed nicely in a plastic sort of clamshell to protect it during shipping.

Design and Features

The model I got for review is the one without a heatsink, So the design is pretty standard. It has a lovely matte black finish to the PCB. There is a WD_BLACK Label that covers all the chips on the board. If you have the heatsink version this label is on the underside. The M.2 fingers are gold plated and because this is NVMe it uses the M Key.

It feels super high quality and well made, as you would expect from WD.
